Helping with everyday problems

When patients need assistance with a range of concerns that are not immediately medically orientated our Palliative Care Social Work Assessment Team is at hand to promote the rights of patients and their carers by providing advice on services available to them.This also includes advice on maximising peoples' financial circumstances.

The Social Work Team also provides emotional support for patients and carers, including bereavement support.
