Ashgate Hospice is dedicated to helping patients and their families live for every single day.

With 21 beds in private rooms for in-patients and facilities for day-patients, Ashgate provides a wide range of therapeutic, medical and nursing care for patients with life-limiting conditions.

The decisions and wishes of our patients are vitally important to us. As far as possible, everyone we look after at Ashgate plays an active part in deciding their programme of treatment and care. For example, if a patient would like the company of a beloved pet in their room, we'll make sure it's all arranged.

Many of our patients continue to live at home while being in the care of Ashgate's doctors, nurses and therapists. Our outreach services make this possible and we'll do all we can to enable patients to live independently at home for as long as they wish.

We are also closely involved with supporting families and children, helping them throughout a patient's treatment as well as after it.
